Welcome to the 2027 SST Tour to Japan! This year, the ski tour begins and ends in Sapporo, the largest city on Hokkaido.

Following last season’s extraordinary "Japow" snow conditions, destination skiing to Japan is in extremely high demand. Leveraging our long-standing relationships and local resources, we have put together an exceptional value package for 2027.

Tour Overview & Highlights

The package takes you to the iconic island of Hokkaido for a two-week powder experience:

Week 1: Skiing at Niseko United and adjacent legendary resorts.

Week 2: Exploring the authentic Japanese mountain frontier of Furano in the heart of the "Powder Belt".

Both featured resorts include Western-style beds, daily breakfasts and dinners, local spas and Japanese onsens, private ski lockers, lift tickets, and Wi-Fi.

Travel & Flight Information

We are taking advantage of direct flights from Vancouver (YVR) to Sapporo New Chitose Airport (CTS) via Air Canada, eliminating the usual Tokyo connection and late 10:00 PM arrivals.

Outbound Flight: Air Canada | Jan 7 | Direct: YVR → CTS (Arrives ~2:30 PM on Jan 8)

Return Flight: Air Canada | Jan 22 | Direct: CTS → YVR (Arrives same day)

Hosting Announcement

Manon and I will not be hosting the Japan Tour this season. Hosting back-to-back Whistler, European, and Japanese itineraries proved to be an overly onerous schedule.

We will be hosting the Austria/Italy Ski Tour. Long-time SST coach and last year’s Japan host Brian Rode will be leading the trip on the ground in Japan again for 2027.
