2026 All Switzerland SST Ski Tour
Hello and Welcome to the 2026 Switzerland SST Ski Tour
I am pleased to announce the all Switzerland SST Ski Tour for 2026. I have secured hotel space in the world famous resort of Davos and in the car-free village of Murren, Switzerland in full view of zee Eiger und Jungfrau mountains.
At the moment though, I am still holding out hope that I will have a successful offer back from the property I am working with in the ultra famous village of Wengen, my first choice. As you likely know, Switzerland comes at a premium price wise but through negotiation and good looks, "Le SST Package" looks like it may come in just 10% more than last years Austria/Italy Tours which if it happens will be an unbelievable deal; fingers crossed.
As Murren and Wengen are located close to each other, this is how the itinerary will go.
Jan 22 or 23 you will fly into Zurich depending on whether you opt to arrive a day early to sight-see and acclimate. The travel time from Zurich to Murren/Wengen is about 3 hours by train including a short leg from Lauterbrunnen on a Wendgernalp cog railway; the villages of Murren & Wengen are car-free.
Here's a link to Wikipedia for some background on these famous villages in the Bernese Oberland.
After a short transfer from the train station to the 4**** Hotel Eiger*, we will be at our destination for the next six nights and five days of skiing. This region is also the home to the world famous Lauberhorn FIS World Cup which will be held on Jan 16 - 18. The massive Jungfrau Region offers 200+ km of ski runs serviced by a network of trains, cable cars, gondolas and chair lifts virtually guaranteeing uncrowded intermediate and advanced slopes and no lift lines; with the amazing Swiss Alps' mountain scenery thrown in at no extra charge.
On Jan 31, we will transfer by charter bus to Davos / Klosters, to the resort refuted to have some of the world's finest on and off-piste skiing. The region is actually six separate ski resorts and has garnered the moniker of the 'cradle' of skiing in Switzerland. It also boasts a higher than average winter snowfall potentially offering powder 'sciing' right off the lifts.
Here's a link to Wikipedia for a backgrounder on Davos.
We will check in to the 5*****Hotel Seehof located on Le Promenade in the center of Davos for the next 7 nights and 6 days of skiing. As a bonus, it is just around the corner to the nearest funicular to the slopes and the ski out is about 100 meters to the door.
Breakfast & dinners are included at both of the resort hotels. Lift passes for both resorts and skiing with local guides are part of the package of course and hotel nights in Zurich at the beginning and end of the tour round out the inclusions.
Alas, all great things must end and on Saturday, February 7 we will transfer back to Zurich for our final evening in Switzerland and fly home on February 8.
Stay tuned for further details as they break. The plan is to have both the 2026 Booking Form and the link to make the Nominal Initial Deposits live by next weekend, May 24 if all the stars align.
*Hotel Eiger is confirmed but pending a reply from the property in Wengen
